Raagam - Abheri
Thalam - Adi
Composer - Saint Thyagaraja
Choreographer - Smt. Daya Ravi
In this song, the poet Thyagaraja describes Lord Vishnu as having a beautiful face and smile and asks him, "Don't you know that I want to see you?" He says that Lord Vishnu is the master of the mountains. In the avatar of Krishna, he lifts up a mountain with his little finger to save humans and animals from a severe thunderstorm. In the avatar of a turtle, he balances the mountain containing the nectar of immortality so that the Gods and Demons can churn it in the ocean. The poet also asks Garuda, the messenger bird, to ask if the Lord will not see him because of the distance between them. He requests Garuda to tell Lord Vishnu that he is waiting and yearning for him to come and bless him.
